The short version: we collect nothing. The details below matter, so read them.

Last updated: August 16, 2026

1. We do not collect your data

TronVault is a self-custody wallet with no accounts, no sign-ups, and no backend servers holding user information. We do not collect, store, or share personal data: no names, no emails, no phone numbers, no device identifiers, and no analytics.

2. What stays on your device

Your recovery phrase, private keys, PIN hash, wallet labels, address book, and preferences are generated and stored locally on your device. The phrase and keys are encrypted with hardware-backed device cryptography and never leave your device in any form.

3. What leaves your device

To display balances, prices, and transaction history, the app queries public blockchain services (TronGrid, TronScan) and public market-data APIs (CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko). These requests contain only your public wallet address and standard technical request data — never your keys, phrase, or personal information.

Public API rate-limit keys shipped in the app are not user data and are not tied to you.

4. Permissions

Camera: used only to scan payment QR codes, when you choose to. Biometrics (fingerprint/face): used only to unlock the app locally, validated by your device hardware. Notifications: opt-in, local-only, used for incoming-transaction alerts. No SMS, contacts, storage, or location permissions are requested.

5. Children

TronVault is not directed at minors and must not be used by anyone under 18.

6. Your rights

Since we hold no personal data, there is nothing to export, correct, or delete on our side. Deleting the app from your device removes all local data — including your wallet, if you have not backed up your recovery phrase.
